When You’re in a Pickle!
When the driver spoke to our team member, he said he was in a real pickle! We responded to the call in the City of Lynwood, WA, and discovered that a semi-truck pulling a trailer didn’t quite make a tight turn. They were stuck, but it was a little more complicated than that! Somehow, the fuel tank lined itself up perfectly with a hidden stump. One wrong move and that thing would break and spill diesel everywhere.
Semi-truck Towing with a Double Overhead Lift

We needed to lift this rig with our double overhead lift to get the fuel tank off that stump. We rigged up the truck carefully and lifted it up and over while preventing damage and avoiding the need for a fuel spill cleanup. Then we gave the trailer a boost so it could follow its semi-tractor with all wheels back on the road.
